the coach
I’ve wanted to be in this industry ever since I can remember.

When I was offered a place at a leading London drama school, I packed up, waved goodbye to the north and set my sights on the future. I graduated with a Ba(Hons) in acting and musical theatre, signed with an agent and was offered a role in the West End company of ‘Blood Brothers’ at the Phoenix Theatre, all within three months. I was then cast in Les Misérables at the Palace Theatre, London, while concurrently filming a guest lead in a BBC drama. I spent the next fourteen years working on a variety of prolific and rewarding projects in TV, film, theatre and radio.
Never shy of a challenge, I then worked as a presenter and voiceover artist on TV for many years with Channel Five, Sky Living and London Live as my regular clients. I’m currently the channel voice of Pick at Sky TV, also writing my own scripts. I think it’s safe to say twelve-year-old me is pinching himself, firmly.
Coaching brings me utter joy. Over the years, I’ve helped people of all ages with a variety of specific needs; teaching the skills to unlock a script, building a character from the ground up, finding a student’s on-camera presenting personality, or even just enhancing their confidence and clarity of speech. I’ve professionally been there and done it, in pretty much all genres within the industry, now you can too.
